The 2020-2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals Rankings named Michigan Medicine number 8 in the nation and number one in Michigan for ophthalmology (eye care). The ranking recognizes Kellogg Eye Center's reputation for providing high-quality patient care and treating the most challenging eye conditions.
U.S. News and World Report annually judges hospitals for its Best Hospitals list by rating high-quality patient care, commitment to patient safety, clinical resources, family centeredness and other measures. For 2020-21, the University of Michigan’s hospitals were among the nation’s very best hospitals, putting it on the Honor Roll, and number one in Michigan.
