Like eyeglasses, contact lenses help to correct refractive errors, providing a safe and effective way to correct vision when used with care and proper supervision. For certain conditions, contact lenses may be considered medically necessary.

The Implantable Miniature Telescope or IMT is for eligible patients with advanced or end-stage AMD. The IMT is a tiny telescope that is implanted in one eye. It magnifies objects & projects them onto the healthy parts of the retina; allowing your implanted eye to provide central vision. The other eye provides peripheral vision.
Low vision — a condition characterized by a level of vision that is 20/70 or worse and that cannot be fully corrected with medical treatment, surgery, or conventional glasses. Unlike total blindness, most individuals with low vision have some useful sight.
